Attorney Catherine J. Sams is dedicated to protecting the rights of people charged with felony and misdemeanor crimes in the State of Florida. Ms. Sams defends against criminal charges throughout the case process–and even after they are closed–with a special focus on giving clients a fresh start with expungements and sealing.
Ms. Sams graduated Magna Cum Laude from Juniata College in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2015. While a law school student, Ms. Sams served as a legal research assistant to Dean Emeritus Bruce R. Jacob and was a competing advocate and appointed student coach with the #1 Trial Team in the nation in both 2013 and 2014. Ms. Sams also completed an internship with the Community Law Program in St. Petersburg, Florida, and actively volunteered with various organizations committed to helping young clients adjudicated delinquent, as well as providing legal education to the public.
